Research
Every successful project begins with preparation. After your initial contact, our office manager gathers essential details about your project and its location. We review local zoning, building codes, and any environmental or neighborhood restrictions that may apply. This step ensures that every design we propose is both inspiring and compliant from the very start.
Initial Meeting
Next, our field representative meets with you in person to discuss your goals in detail. This is where we learn about your vision, needs, and budget while assessing the existing structure or site conditions. For renovation projects, we take photos and on-site measurements to ensure accuracy. Depending on the project’s complexity, additional meetings may be scheduled to refine the scope and gather all necessary information before design begins.
Concept Development
With a clear understanding of your project, our design team begins creating the concept or preliminary plans. At this stage, collaboration is key — we work closely with you to explore design options, refine layouts, and ensure the plans reflect your aesthetic and functional goals. You’ll have opportunities to review and request adjustments, allowing us to fine-tune the design until it aligns perfectly with your vision.
Production
Once the concept is approved, we move into the production phase — where ideas become detailed construction documents. This is the set of finalized, permit-ready plans used by contractors and building departments. Our goal is precision and clarity, ensuring that every drawing supports a smooth and efficient permitting and construction process.
Addressing Comments
Regulations are always evolving, and building departments often issue comments requesting clarifications or revisions before a permit can be approved. We handle these promptly and professionally. Our experience allows us to anticipate potential issues and respond quickly to keep your project moving forward. Timely communication and accuracy at this stage help minimize delays and maintain momentum toward permit approval.
Beyond the Design
